Spanish flare returns to QUEENS

Spanish guard, Inma Bautista-Villaverde, returns to the Gloucester City Queens for her second season. The University of Worcester graduate played in all 24 games last season for the Queens, averaging 7.3ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.7apg in her rookie season in the WBBL.

Inma had this to say about her return:

I'm super happy to come back for another year with the Gloucester City Queens. I can't wait to meet my new teammates and get to work to achieve great things this year. I am really looking forward to keep improving and pushing myself to be the best teammate and player I can be in order to help the team get where we want to be.

Head Coach, Jimmy Bower has this to say:

We are delighted to see Inma return and continue her professional career as a Queen. Injuries derailed a promising start to last season but Inma was a constant professional and showed a considerable amount of resilience. In our evaluation at the end of the season we both knew it took some time for Inma to adjust to the level but I think everyone could see towards the end of the season we saw some really promising performances from her. We feel we will create that environment where she can take another step in her development and help us as a team push for the playoffs.
