Gloucester City Basketball
Gloucester City Kings and Gloucester City Queens are professional basketball teams based in the City of Gloucester.
The Gloucester City Queens play in the WBBL with the Kings currently playing in the NBL.
A new era for sport in Gloucester
Gloucester City Kings and Gloucester City Queens is the vision of Gloucester Sport co-owner Alex Petheram and has been brought into fruition by Gloucester Sport CEO Jay Marriott, former professional basketball player and Head Coach of Plymouth Raiders.
A venue in the heart
of the City
Both professional teams play out of the Arena at Oxstalls Sports Park which can seat up to 1500 spectators. The Arena is a first class venue 20 minutes walk from the City Centre.
Local links
Both clubs are partnered with St. Peters R.C. High School in Gloucester, providing training facilities for both teams and a pathway for local players. St Peters will also host training and games for our youth development partners. This venue will also host camps during school holidays.
